or me, all the stuff that lives within the cracks are actually the best things in life. It's an opportunity to take advantage and reset yourself. Its always about the little things for me! As best I possibly can, I try to live by these little things in our lives and cherish all of them. It connects me to a connected world.

My work makes bridges form the smallest cafe in Morocco to the newspaper stand in Yokohama to the street shot in Prague. Small moments within the art makes it special. I'm always connecting to who I am and how it relates to the work I am currently producing.

Within this page I hope to continually share more what I do in my life socially; art shows I get invited to, my new projects, my travel and how it works with my art. I don’t want it to be a blog necessarily but more like a loose journal of my activities which I think could reflect the choices I make for my art.

Over the 30 years of being in the design and print industry I have worked on many different projects. They have all made me into a more interesting person with many various and much needed capabilities. I have worked with hundreds of materials and use them in ways to enhance my pieces. Its still a wonderful journey! I have always been a student and a teacher and always shared my techniques. This is what gives me joy, sharing my knowledge of this industry.

I have a Professional pigment based printer in my studio which prints all my work in this genre. I am always using quality and gallery quality when possible. I work with a local frame store and they have an excellent selection of low to higher priced mat boards and frames. Working together, we can make the art on your walls truly stand out.

I just got back from a nice vacation with my family. It's always nice to get away and unwind but it's always particularly fun when you visit a place that gets into your skin immediately and you can feel like you're living there. This probably happens to a lot of people but this is the main reason why I love to travel. I always get so absorbed by the cultures and life styles of other places. This last one had a strong creative tone that crossed the entire city and people. It was woven into their culture and I loved that part of it. It made me want to just be a part of it. Anyway, I am slowly developing my new style. I have it close to where I really want it. My control is better and I am finding more creative ways to transform my art throughout it's various stages. Layers. Anyway, I have really liked my newest pieces and actually quite proud of them. I have always loved vibrant colors and my new method allows me to capture those reflective colors I love. I hope you enjoy them too!

While putting this website together, I've been working on a few new pieces. Luckily they made this round of updates but so much is happening while everything else is happening. I'm developing my style faster than I can keep pace documenting all of it. Anyway, not complaining... It's all been really good actually. My work within this style is becoming more focused and clean. I'm beginning to understand the process better and with a strong direction my projects are becoming more mature.

My next goal is to continue doing what you see in my After Hours Portfolio but with a goal in mind. I decided to create 5 pieces from each location I've visited. This will give me a nice new body of work using my newest techniques. I'm excited!
